Georgetown University Student Developed App to Assist in Adjudicating Claims - Law students at Georgetown University have developed an app to assist them with adjudication of veteran benefit claims before VA. This is a tool that is still under development and can assist an advocate in screening veterans as to their eligibility for various VA benefits. Georgetown University has reached out to NOVA to help assess the usefulness of this app.

New FDC Program Video Series Released

According to the VA, as of January 24, 2015, FDC claims are being processed on average 27% faster than non-FDC claims.

VA recommends that Veterans file their claim as a Fully Developed Claim (FDC) to get faster decisions on pension claims. By submitting all of their supporting evidence at the same time as their 21-527EZ application form, Veterans get a decision on their pension claim faster than the standard claims process.
