NOVA will hold its next webinar – Five Cases or 500: Why You Need a Case Management System – on March 15, 2017 at 3PM Eastern time. Join our presenters to learn how case management software can give you more time to focus on practicing law. Good case management software helps you organize case information, contacts, documents, and deadlines. The presenters will explain why you need it, and review three programs: Prevail, Needles, and Clio.
Since 1990, Mr. Chisholm has successfully represented hundreds of veterans before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC), and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Mr. Chisholm is a past president of both NOVA and the CAVC Bar Association. In 2016, the CAVC honored him with the Hart T. Mankin Award for, among other things, “his 25 years of outstanding service” to the CAVC and “his continuous support and mentorship of others in the field through veterans law outreach and education efforts and the work of his law firm.” He is a frequent speaker at national conferences and meetings on veterans law and practice.
For the last several years, Mr. Hill has focused exclusively on representing veterans in VA disability compensation claims and appeals. His practice ranges from submitting original claims for compensation at VA regional offices to filing appeals before the CAVC. He is a frequent speaker at national conferences and meetings on veterans law and practice, most recently in November 2016 with Robert Chisholm at the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) biannual conference.
After practicing in the corporate healthcare group of a Connecticut law firm, Mr. Rada struck out on his own in 2013 to start his VA benefits practice, After Service LLC. Mr. Rada has represented over 100 veterans before VA and the CAVC. Prior to becoming an attorney, he served in the Air Force as a C-17 cargo aircraft loadmaster, ensuring the safe delivery of millions of pounds of war-fighting material to Afghanistan and Iraq. For his service in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, Greg was awarded three Air Medals, two Air Force Achievement Medals, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with Valor Device, and five Air Force Expeditionary Medals with Gold Borders.
