Join Andy as he provides tips and best practices from his experience with informal conferences conducted as part of the higher-level review (HLR) process. He will cover how to prepare, what to present during the conference, what to include in a brief (if you write one), and feedback he has received from decision review officers (DROs).

Andrew Gross, the founder and managing attorney at the Law Office of Andrew P. Gross, is an experienced litigator and advocate with over a decade of experience. Starting his career at the premier firm representing young children poisoned by lead paint, through his time as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army, Andy has dedicated himself and his career to serving the needs of others. Andy started his firm to serve those injured by the negligence of others, along with Veterans seeking the benefits they earned through their own service. He is licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia in local and federal courts, the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and is accredited to represent Veterans before the Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
