- VA DISABILITY LAW
Congress has promised that our government will care for our former military service members and their dependents, survivors, and caregivers. I represent these individuals in appealing erroneous Department of Veterans Affairs denials of disability compensation, and other resources and services, to which the law entitles them. I devote much of my practice to impact litigation.
My experience includes Godsey v. Wilkie (the first-ever action that the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims certified as a class action), Wolfe v. Wilkie (the second-ever action that that court certified as a class action), and significant other precedential victories before that court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
I am a member of the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates, Amicus and Litigation Committee. I belong to the Georgia and the District of Columbia Bars (though not the Bar of Virginia, where I currently reside with my family). I am admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
