Jason Mendoza

Jason "Jay" Mendoza is the managing attorney and owner of Southwest Law Firm. Jason has dedicated his practice to serving the seriously injured and Veterans with VA Disability Appeals. He prides himself on always being on the offensive, taking initiative, and not taking "no" for an answer. He lives by the mantra, "The answer will always be "no" if you don't ask".

Jason served in the Marine Corps and knows firsthand what other Veterans have endured while serving. Having these experiences himself makes him uniquely and highly qualified to have him in your corner, fighting for what you deserve. Jason is known to aggressively and persistently fight to get the benefits owed to his clients. He has no problem taking cases to trial and will not back down. He's known for filing cases to the Courts. He has not lost one case to date! When asked what has contributed to the success of SWLF, you will often hear him say, "#1 - My staff. They are extremely smart, very nice, and are second to none, and #2 - Our continuous mission to passionately help the underserved by having positive life-changing impacts". Jason has personally been a victim of a personal injury event and also knows exactly what Veterans go through when dealing with the VA. Jason handled thousands of VA disability cases at all levels, and has helped recoup millions of dollars in retro disability payments to his clients.

Jason lives in Old Litchfield Park, Arizona, with his beautiful wife of 25 years. He has two amazing boys who are currently attending ASU and NAU. In his spare time, he likes hanging out with family and friends, spending time at the beach in Puerto Penasco, Mexico, hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants. He's also a long-time dog dad to three Yorkies (Jax, Mia, and Lexi) and one Golden Doodle (aka Daisy Doodles, Doodles, Crazy Daisy, do's-do's). Jason can also be seen cruising around town in his 2006 M1123, former Marine Corps HUMVEE. When time permits, Jason loves exploring new Arizona areas and driving off the beaten path in his 4x4 Winnebago Revel.
