Sean Kendall has a J.D. from George Washington University, National Law Center and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Colorado. He is a past member of the Board of Governors of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Bar Association, and was a past-member of the Rules Committee for the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Kendall started working in the area of veterans law in 1990 for the National Veterans Legal Services Project as a law clerk. At the NVLSP he represented veterans before the Board of Veterans' Appeals on behalf of Vietnam Veterans of America. Following graduation from law school Mr. Kendall continued at NVLSP as a staff attorney, working on such cases as the CVA briefing in Emphraim v. Brown, 5 Vet. App. 549.
Mr. Kendall started his own practice in 1993, concentrating on various administrative law fields of practice. He has briefed several cases on behalf of the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates, Inc. as amicus curiae, including Austin v. Brown, 6 Vet. App. 547 (1994), with Keith Snyder. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Colorado, U.S. Court of Veterans Appeals, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, U.S. District Court, Colorado.
